Version 3.0.1 September 29, 2026
A reliability update — fixes a startup crash and quiets drive-on guidance until you turn it on.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash that could close the app while it was starting, most often on a busy iPhone or right after a restart.
- Drive-on guidance now starts its audio only when you switch it on, and reports when audio is unavailable instead of staying silent.
Version 2.0.2 April 26, 2026
Sharper level reading near zero.
- The cm raise hint now stays visible down to about 3 mm of tilt, so you can fine-tune the last few millimetres instead of the readout flipping to "Level" early.
- Light smoothing keeps the pitch and roll values steady instead of flickering on raw sensor noise.
- Quicker transition between the "Level" indicator and the correction value — the text keeps up with the bubble.
Version 2.0.1 April 10, 2026
Cleaner App Store screenshots.
Metadata-only release. Recaptured the App Store screenshots without the calibration tip and AI banner overlays, and restored the watch overlay on the iPhone+Watch composite shot.
Version 2.0 April 7, 2026
A complete iOS 26 redesign with Liquid Glass.
The biggest update since launch — rebuilt for iOS 26 from the ground up.
New look & feel
- Apple's Liquid Glass interface throughout — caravan silhouettes rendered as glass shapes with neon-tube line art.
- Procedural grass background and a refreshed green tint that matches the outdoors.
- Glass settings sheet and glass card backgrounds for onboarding.
New ways to level
- Multi-device leveling: read from one iPhone, monitor live from a second iPhone or iPad over peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. No internet, no Wi-Fi network needed.
- Bubble level: a classic 2D spirit-level bubble alongside the silhouette view.
- Combined view: silhouettes and the bubble level on one screen.
- Raise-distance estimates: enter your wheel spacing and get precise centimetres-to-raise hints per corner.
- QR code download: pair a second device by scanning a code straight from the app.
Apple Watch
- Independent watchOS app — runs without the iPhone after the first connect.
- Caravan silhouette and bubble level views, with raise hints, mirrored from the iPhone in real time.
- Native instructions and disconnect handling on the watch.
Other
- TipKit calibration tip teaches the hold-to-level gesture.
- Sun-direction overlay redesigned with a bloom-glow sun glyph.
- Modernised to Swift 6 strict concurrency and current SwiftUI lifecycle APIs.
Version 1.0 Late 2020
The original release.
Caravan Leveler launched on the App Store in late 2020. Reconstructed from commit history (no per-version tags or store metadata exist for the 1.x series).
Highlights
- Caravan and camper silhouettes showing front and side tilt in real time.
- Sun direction indicator with compass overlay — park for shade or solar gain.
- Apple Watch companion mirroring the live level from the iPhone.
- Haptic feedback when you reach perfect level.
- Preliminary iPad portrait support.
- Danish localization.
- Compass precision indicator and screen-stay-awake during leveling.
A maintenance update in late 2021 brought the watch app forward to watchOS 8.
