  • Check HTTP reachability and look up DNS records over HTTPS through Cloudflare’s public resolver.

Live throughput & repeat checks

  • Live network throughput appears in the toolbar. Tap for per-interface charts, or hide the indicator in Settings.
  • Recent runs on each tool are ready to reopen or run again.
  • Ping runs continuously until you stop it.
  • Route discovered IPs, hosts and URLs straight to another tool, including SSH and VNC handoff to Rumskrot Terminal and Rumskrot Remote.
  • History keeps up to 100 runs per tool and target for 90 days, always preserving the latest result.

Readability & personalisation

  • Choose your accent colour in Settings.
  • JSON response bodies in HTTP probe and curl are easier to read.
  • Clearer controls, improved readability at larger text sizes and a refreshed app icon.

Fixes

  • Cert dashboard automatically refreshes when you return to stale results.
  • Diagnose skips DNS lookup for IP addresses.
  • mDNS timeout rows offer actions, and the raw-record drawer opens correctly.

The first public release of Rumskrot Beacon — the network engineer's toolbelt for iPhone and iPad. Nineteen native diagnostics and audits, built on Network.framework, the dnssd C API, and Swift Concurrency. No third-party SDKs, no relays, no servers — every probe runs from your device.
