Live network throughput in the toolbar, and a routing menu that reaches across every Rumskrot app.

Live throughput

  • A live NIC throughput pill sits in the toolbar on every screen. Tap through for a detailed network inspector with per-interface charts.

Everywhere else

  • Recent-runs section on every tool, so your last few probes against a target are one glance away.
  • Ping count of 0 now runs indefinitely instead of stopping.
  • A routing menu on every IP, hostname, and URL — including rows that failed to resolve — with SSH and VNC handoff straight to Rumskrot Terminal and Rumskrot Remote.
  • “More from Rumskrot” in Settings, for finding the rest of the toolbelt.

Improved

  • Diagnose skips the DNS phase entirely when you give it an IP literal.
  • mDNS/Bonjour timeouts are now actionable, and the raw-record drawer is fixed.
  • A visual refresh throughout.

The first public release of Rumskrot Beacon — the network engineer's toolbelt for iPhone and iPad. Nineteen native diagnostics and audits, built on Network.framework, the dnssd C API, and Swift Concurrency. No third-party SDKs, no relays, no servers — every probe runs from your device.
